AC Shadows Reveals Surprising AoT Event for Holiday Season

In a bizarre partnership that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an unique katana together with numerous items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
